Hello, and welcome to the Girly Girl Beads Jewelry web site. My name is Rose Marie Landry, founder of Girly Girl Beads Jewelry. I started making jewelry as a hobby and stress reliever about 2 ½ years ago. Many of my friends and even people off the street would ask me, "Where did you get that necklace?" or "Where did you get those earrings?" When I would reply, "I made it," they would then ask "Can you make me one?" Soon friends, family, colleagues, people at church, in the grocery stores, just about everywhere I went, I was asked to custom make sets to match their favorite outfits in their closets. Voila…Girly Girl Beads was born!

Since I had owned three women’s boutiques called "Definitely Different" on the central coast of California for over twenty years, people who knew me knew and trusted my fashion sense. Once I started beading, I realized I had tapped into a gift that had been dormant in me for years. I found my niche! Today I enjoy making jewelry and find it rewarding to see the pleasure it brings to others.

Many of my clients have encouraged me to put my jewelry on the web. At first I thought I would keep the Girly Girl Beads business local but with all the joy my pieces seem to bring to people and strong encouragement from my ten year old firstborn granddaughter, Cierra Rose, I decided to move forward. I had originally wanted to call the business Cierra Rose Designs after my granddaughter. However, that name had been taken so we came up with Girly Girl Beads. Now, my line "Jewelry of Faith" is named after Cierra Rose.

Please keep in mind that all natural stones cannot be duplicated. Each piece is unique to the stones with which it was created. We take pride in our handcrafting expertise and color and stone combinations, with great attention to detail in all the jewelry pieces we create. We offer high quality handcrafted jewelry to those looking for something "Definitely Different". Each design may be reproduced in different sizes and colors. However, all custom orders are one of a kind and will not be mass produced.
